At the Penarth Natural Health Hub Nutritional Therapy is closely linked with Allergy Therapy and Testing.
The primary goal is to get an insight, as clear as possible into the origin of your health problems. In addition to detailed nutritional assessment the Therapy includes detection of possible food or chemical allergies. This is done using muscle testing technique called Applied Kinesiology.
Simply saying, the life force of the body’s vital energies (conducted by meridians, reflexes, and all organs); are involved. The testing substances are placed, usually on the stomach and the body is “asked “by testing the strength of the designated by the relevant meridian muscle, if a tested substance is energetically “accepted” to be beneficial.
This involves the active cooperation of the individual, allowing an instant awareness of offending foods and other substances.
We all are nutritional “experts”, or, truly……… rather pretending to be. Bombarded by “diets”, weight loss clubs’ advertisements, slimming jabs, surgeries, revolutionary menus online and in newspapers with all their promises, we eventually might be certain which of the hailed approaches are going to be beneficial. Or… just more and more confusing?? Maybe I will just swallow a balloon to lose weight? Hm??? How to be certain which of these approaches are right?
And most importantly are they right just for me??or for everyone else?

Digestion Therapy
Digestive Problems
Digestive problems therapy addresses gut health by exploring eating patterns, stress, and lifestyle factors. Through tailored guidance, it helps manage conditions like IBS, bloating, and food sensitivities for better well-being.
Our health is always being challenged by viruses, bacteria or by unavoidable exhaust fumes.

Weight Challenges
Weight Therapy
Addictions to foods and resulted obesity is often linked to allergies and severe fluctuations of blood glucose levels
Weight therapy offers personalised support for managing weight-related challenges, combining nutrition guidance, psychological insight, and lifestyle changes.
Due to intensive farming, food is poor in nutrients. Processing, storage, cooking, light and heat further reduce nutrient content. Stress linked to busy lifestyles requires good nutrition for coping with daily demands.

Joint Problems
Arthritis
Arthritis and other inflammatory joint problems
Arthritis nutritional therapy aims on limiting the intake of food that causes inflammation. Nutrients containing omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and antioxidants can support joint function and decrease inflammation. Allergy testing identifies food contributing to inflammation.
Many common medical drugs interact with vitamins and minerals in the body (for instance the Pill depletes vitamin B6 and zinc and diuretics may lead to significant loss of most minerals).

Candida Albicans
Candida Albicans
Candida Albicans; yeast and fungal overgrowth
Candida Albicans nutritional therapy focuses on restoring balance in the gut microbiome by addressing yeast and fungal overgrowth. It involves a tailored way of eating to improve digestion and boost the immune system. Nutritional support includes dietary changes and probiotics to restore healthy gut bacteria.
Alcohol, cigarettes, vapes, addictive soft drinks, stimulants, rich in sugar processed snacks are often overused for an instant “energy fix”, which may result in deficiency of vital for health vitamins and minerals.
Consultations and Treatments
One meeting (about 2 hrs) is needed to carry out nutritional assessment and allergy testing. Detailed explanation of the results follows with a necessary dietary change. Nutritional supplements may be provided.
Usually 2 follow-up appointments of 1 hr are booked after 4 to 6 weeks; to monitor the progress, carry out an allergy re-test and provide further nutritional advice.
The treatment is structured in phases so that each will prepare the ground for the next. Only in this way clients achieve maximum benefit from their nutritional changes and supplements on the route to better health.
In addition to detailed nutritional assessment the Therapy includes detection of possible food or chemical allergies. This is done using muscle testing technique called Applied Kinesiology.
